- about us?
Delta Tactics is a DFX2 based, infantry oriented gaming league. Our goal is to offer a fair and competitive base for the Novalogic gaming community.
- how will the league function?
The league will be divided into seasons. During one season every team playes every other team once. Vitory will earn you 3 points a draw will get you 1 point and a loss will not be rewarded with points at all. In case any two or more teams have the same ammounts of points at the end of a season the will be a final match to decide the seasons victor.
- will there be more than one division?
Given enough teams, yes. At the end of a season the two best teams of the lower division will ascend to the first division and the worst two teams of the first division will be downgraded to the second division. A division will be limited to 6 Teams.
- how do I sign up my team?
The sign up process is simple. First the squad leader must register on www.delta-tactics.eu. There he will have to create his squad with all required infos. After this first step the squad leader will have to add players to his team including himself. When this is done the squad leader can sign his team up for any league in the league forum sign up thread. Here for TDM & Here for TKOTH.
- can we sign up to more than one league at a time?
Yes, you can. Keep in mind though that signing up to two leagues means you will have to play more times a week. If you can handle that, have fun :)
- can we join anytime?
Teams can always join the league, but new teams cannot enter the competition in the middle of a season. For this reason we are going to keep the seasons as short as possible. If teams choose to join after the second division has become active they will have to play in the second division first. In other words, if there is a second division, teams may not simply join the first division, they will have to earn the upgrade.
- how will matches work?
Matches will be fixed at the beginning of the season(who plays whom...not the scores ;D). Two maps will be chosen by the "home" party and the "visiting" team gets to choose on wich side to start on both maps. For the second face-off their roles will be switched. If team A wins 3 consecutive rounds they need not play round 4.
- how many players can we set up for a match and how many can we register in our team?
You may register as many players to your team as you wish. There are a few limitations though. Players can be registered only once and only to one team. New players will be barred from playing for 5 days exceptions have to be accepted by the other party and have to be documented in the match comments. Minimum team size will be 6 players a side. If team A wishes to set up more players they may document this in the match comments. If team B accepts setting up more players they will have to aknowledge this in the match comments.
- can we win anything?
Given the fact that we are organising this in our spare time, we cannot really offer any material prizes yet. What we do plan to hand out to the best teams are banners wich they can display on their websites. Since we aim to make it a very competitive league, prestige will be the main reward.
